Diploma in Dialysis Technology
Diploma in Dialysis Techniques is a certification level skill based course in the area of Dialysis techniques and its procedure. The course can be pursued by the students after completing their 10+2 education and demand a minimum of 50% marks (Relaxable for reserved category candidates) at 10+2 level in order to offer them admissions in the course.
Dialysis is the artificial process of eliminating waste (diffusion) and unwanted water (ultra- filtration) from the blood. Our kidneys do this naturally, however some people may have failed or damaged kidneys which cannot carry out the function properly. They may need dialysis. The program provide students with the opportunity to study the principles of Dialysis, basic medical science of the kidney, fluid and electrolyte balance, hematologic aspects, infectious diseases, dialysis systems and equipment, vascular access to circulation, blood chemistry, complications of renal failure, psycho-social aspects and an overview of peritoneal dialysis and renal transplantation.
During the course, students learn the properties of light and geometric optics, including refraction and reflection. The Diploma course is an important and career oriented one that opens many opportunities for the candidates after its successful completion.

10+2 pass out students with a minimum of 50% in class 12th board examination from any recognized board.
